Dr. Ummar Raheel - USA
Founder/ CEO
Who am I ?
Molecular diagnostics expert with extensive expertise in NGS, qPCR and In vitro diagnostic product (IVD) technologies and clinical applications. My areas of interest is setting up, operating, managing, and strengthening clinical diagnostics. In the last decade, I successfully designed and implemented very versatile IVD assays, ranging from metagenomics (infectious diseases/viral or microbiome) to human clinical/medical genomics (cancer, neurodegenerative, cardiovascular, pharmacogenomics and metabolic disorders). Working with innovative industry projects helped me to build a strong business insight to understand the ever-growing and volatile molecular diagnostic market.

Who am I ?
I am currently managing an awesome team of assistant scientists while working on genetic and infectious disease testing. We test many different targets and work with multiple instruments and different workflows. I personally love and specialize in Next-generation sequencing and have worked on neuro, cancer, and pharmacogenomic panels. I am also currently enrolled in a masters program for Genomics. My personal interests surround neuroscience, pharmacology, and cannabis science. I am always eager to learn more about how the nervous system reacts and adapts to different substances. If you have any good article suggestions, please send them my way! Bachelor of Arts – Neuroscience – Rutgers University – Newark – May 2021 Master of Science – Genomics – University of Science – Philadelphia – December 2024

Dr. Sami Ullah - DEU
Country Director
Who am I ?
Dr. Sami Ullah is currently working as a product specialist (Cell line development, testing and biosafety) at Sartorius where he is giving scientific and technical consultation to clients for their recombinant proteins production needs. Although based in Germany, he is working as a specialist for Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA). Dr. Sami Ullah is a PhD in Biotechnology with focus on immunology and cell models development for drug delivery studies. He is also a certified professional project manager and experienced science communicator. He has successfully used his expertise to bring success to different organizations in Germany such as the Helmholtz Association, Leibniz Association and the University Hospital of Tubingen. Dr. Sami Ullah has represented the PhD researchers from 18 different institutes of the Helmholtz association and worked as communication manager for the said organization while doing his PhD. Afterwards, he was a spokesperson for the PostDoc association of the Leibniz Association where he represented more than 5000 Scientists from 98 institutes. He was elected as an ambassador of science and worked as a science communicator, explaining science through easy experiments to college students. During the hard times of COVID-19 pandemic, he worked as diagnostics specialist apart from his regular job as a scientist at the University Hospital of Tubingen. His efforts were then recognized publicly by the city mayor and the state head of Baden Wurttemberg. Having diverse experience in immunology, cell biology, infectious diseases diagnostics and protein therapeutics, and having worked internationally on different projects, he aims to bring innovative solutions to existing problems and simplify the processes in diagnostics and therapeutics industry using his knowledge, experience and network.
